Doug and I took the kids to see Back to the Future: The Musical on Broadway on Friday night, and all I can say is go! This show is fantastic. It was so entertaining and fun.
Irrespective of your age, your background, or your politics, it’s one of those shows everyone will love. Our whole family laughed and laughed.
The music is upbeat and joyful. The set design is sophisticated/impressive. The whole cast is extremely talented. The actor who plays George McFly – the dad of Marty McFly – is hysterical. It is such a great role.
I am not getting paid to say any of this. It’s just so fun and refreshing when Broadway hits without any woke social moralizing (unlike a show my daughter recently saw). This production was great simply by offering a high-energy, funny, and very entertaining two hours.
If you are coming to New York City and thinking about going to a show but don’t want to spend too much money on a miss, go to Back to the Future. Go with your family, go with a date, go with no one – but go!
