Kamala Harris is now on track to become the next Democratic nominee for president. It must be so fun when your name is Nancy Pelosi, and you have a magic wand, and you can just make people the presidential candidate.
It is amazing to me that we have all just moved on from the fact that Pelosi and co. have seized the Democratic nomination. They have given it to Kamala Harris. Not a single voter has voted for this woman to be the presidential candidate on the Democrat ticket.
They are all seem to be like, ‘Okay? I guess we’re not allowed to challenge the black lady. That is a ‘no’ in the Democratic Party, so we have to keep our mouth shut.’ Even though, if you look at the polls, she is not the best person to take on Donald Trump. If you are an actual Democrat who wants to win, is this the horse you want to bet on?
Regardless, the Dems are all going along with it because the Republican Party is unified and they need unity. The media is so thrilled that they got rid of the elderly, infirm man who they were defending just weeks ago (remember when they dismissed all of those videos of Joe Biden looking bad as “cheap fakes”?), they have magically all forgotten who Kamala Harris actually is.
She has to be the second coming, you see. She has to be the one who unifies the party. She has to be reinvented. She is not awkward. She is “wine aunt.” She is enjoying “brat summer.” They have been jumping out of their seats in excitement over on MSNBC and the like, praising the “twinkle” in her eye and “kick” in her step. @EndWokeness on X compiled just a bit of the [over]reaction:
So, the reason Kamala Harris has not resonated with voters is because you cannot be “loose” when you are the vice president. But now that she is running for president, she can be her full, wonderful, able-to-connect, loose self.

We have not forgotten who Kamala Harris really is. While the “wine aunt” is fun and someone you actually do want to sit down and have a drink with her, Kamala Harris is a bully who has pushed out or made life intolerable for virtually every person who has come to work for her in the White House.
She is the Meghan Markle of the administration. People can’t work for her. She is a nightmare. And we are no doubt going to be hearing more about the mass staff exodus that we have seen under her tenure once she is formally the nominee.
On that front, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) endorsed Harris today. I don’t know if you want to say they fix is in, but the Democrats have absolutely no interest in letting voters decide who is going to replace Joe Biden.
They will decide, they will shove those vegetables down your throat, and you will say ‘thank you’ if you are a good little Democratic voter. That is where we are right now.
