‘It Was 3 Against 1’: Megyn Unloads on ABC News Moderators for Biased Debate Performance

Well, I watched it. Did you watch it?

I am disgusted. I am ashamed of those moderators at ABC News. David Muir and Linsey Davis did exactly what their bosses’ wanted them to do. The head of ABC News, Dana Walden, is a close personal friend of Kamala Harris who is responsible for Kamala Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, meeting. They did Dana Walden’s bidding.

It was three against one on the debate stage this evening.

Trump did the best he could under the circumstances, but it really was like three fighters in the ring pummeled one opponent. Trump tried to take them all on. He did as best as he could. He was thrown a few times to the point where he was unnecessarily defensive and he was getting angry. To be honest, so was I. Were you?

This was a mistake to trust ABC News with this debate. The Republicans must learn from this mistake the same way the Democrats never agree to moderators they don’t entirely trust. This should be the last time the Republicans ever do this because those two moderators tried to sink Donald Trump tonight.

The Moderator Tactics

There were numerous fact checks on what he said and none on what she said. She lied, and she got away with it. In the moderators’ eyes, it was Donald Trump’s job to fact check her. That is correct, except they didn’t employ that same tactic when it came to Trump. They accused him of lying – even when it was his opinion that he lied.

At one point, Trump tried to say that his comment that he lost 2020 “by a whisker” was him being sarcastic. David Muir injected and said, ‘I didn’t hear sarcasm.’ Who gives a sh-t what you heard? Who died and left you political analyst in chief? You are supposed to be the objective news anchor of World News Tonight. It is not for you to make that call. Leave it up to Kamala Harris. Leave it up to people like me who will play the soundbite and let the audience decide. David Muir, you were out of line.

The worst piece of all of this is the obvious tactic by ABC News, which was as follows: The moderators would ask something like, ‘Mr. Trump, you said something incredibly controversial and terrible. Let me remind you of what it was. Do you have any regrets or thoughts on how terrible you were?’

Trump would answer and then it was, ‘Vice President Harris, how bad is Trump?’ And then she would answer. It happened over and over again. The format was essentially:

MODERATOR: Mr. Trump, you’re a piece of sh-t.

HARRIS: Trump is a piece of sh-t.

MODERATOR: Thank you.

It was incredible. And then there was the fact that anything Trump said was met with fact check, fact check, fact check. And their fact checks were full of sh-t.

‘I am Angry’

I am swearing even more than normal right now because I am angry. I am angry at the moderators. I am angry at ABC News. I am angry at my industry that I want nothing to do with and could not be happier to be outside of. I could not be happier to be able to say how I truly feel – yes, even with some colorful words because that is what the situation calls for.

They are trying to steal this election. They are openly working to sink Donald Trump. I think their bias against him and toward her was so bad that it is going to backfire. I actually think the American public is going to see through this, and there is probably going to be some empathy for Trump. No fair minded person could think anything other than that.

It was three against one on that stage tonight.
