Megyn Shares Why She Accepted an Invitation to Speak at Donald Trump’s Rally in Pittsburgh on Monday

With less than 24 hours to go until Election Day, Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are crisscrossing battleground states in the hopes of appealing to undecided voters.

Both campaigns will be in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday evening for dueling events, with the former president hosting a rally at PPG Paints Arena. On Monday’s show, Megyn shared that she would be traveling to the Steel City to address the crowd in the waning hours of the election.

“Over the weekend, we got an invitation that we never really expected to get and that was from Team Trump to show up tonight in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and for yours truly to make some remarks on the president’s behalf or really, more accurately, just to explain why I’m voting for him,” Megyn explained. “And I said yes.”

While she said her remarks will be fairly brief given the schedule of the event, Megyn previewed that she plans to “proudly explain to that audience and beyond why I think it is absolutely essential that he win this election and that we not put Kamala Harris into the Oval Office as our president.”

Megyn said her remarks will focus on why she has chosen to publicly support Trump. “This election, for the first time ever, I told the audience who I’m voting for,” she noted. “I’ve explained in bits and pieces why… and tonight I’ll say it to the people in Pennsylvania – the most, or at least one of the most, critical swing states of all.”

In particular, Megyn said she hopes her message resonates with women who remain on the fence. “I hope women will listen to me – the women, young and old, who are reportedly registering in big numbers right now especially on the Dem side,” she explained. “I believe a lot of them believe the lies they are being told about what Kamala Harris is going to do for you on abortion.”

While Megyn encouraged her audience to revisit her in-depth breakdown of the abortion issue from Friday’s show (and share it with those who may benefit from hearing it), she said it will come up today as well.

“Wish me luck tonight,” she concluded. “And wish Trump luck.”
